Technician Job Description

Responsibilities
- Analyze failures and supply competent repair actions on Transponders, DME's, Radar, and other pulse based avionics
- Demonstrate effective understanding of component diagrams, and use them to diagnose component level failures
- Operate test equipment to facilitate testing and certification of LRU's
- Perform soldering and component replacement as necessary
Requirements
- Associate degree in electronics, avionics, or equivalent documented experience
- Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing to component level of Rockwell Collins and/or Bendix King Radar and pulse equipment
- Proficiency at soldering to documented standards
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating effective problem solving through the use and understanding of component manuals and wiring diagrams
- US citizenship
