Aviation Sales Representative


  • Identify and grow the business through inside sales activities and retention of current customer accounts
  • Answer customer inquiries including requests for quotations (RFQ’s), sales order acknowledgements, order status, problem resolution, documentation, RMA’s and quality assurance requests for information
  • Ensures customer satisfaction as the primary customer focal point for standard product sales
  • Works cooperatively with all other functions of the business including finance, shipping and receiving, purchasing and planning, manufacturing operations, repair operations and business development
  • Cross train for backup support role for purchasing, incoming inspection, shipping and receiving, MRO customer service and other roles as necessary
  • Possess extensive knowledge of aerospace market specifically with inside sales
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

CSR - Customer Service Representative


  • Processing the sales order
  • Confirming receipt to customer via Sales Order confirmation email
  • Requesting customers’ review and whether any changes need be made to their order.
  • Creating POs to vendors if applicable
  • Obtaining vendors’ receipt and shipment confirmations and tracking information
  • Creating POs to fill orders only, unless otherwise directed by Inventory Control
  • Creating the pick ticket. Either the Salesperson or CSR sends shipping confirmation / tracking numbers to customers

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound items and review documents and quantities for accuracy.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Review open orders and pick, pack and ship products and accessories to customer
  • Based upon packing slip, prepare package for shipment according to carrier instructions for UPS, DHL or FedEx
  • Ensure that packages are shipped on a timely basis and consult with supervisor and internal customers regarding any shipping issues or need for clarifications
  • Checks items to be shipped against repair orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
  • Allocate piece parts to internal repair orders.
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
